This morning, at 6:30, Katherine dropped off the bundle of joy that is James in my room—along with a laptop playing continuous loops of Elmo skits. Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on who you ask), the laptop died about 15 minutes later. That’s when all hell...

Good morning, baby
I first fell asleep around 7 last night. The radio from downstairs woke me up around 8; I went down, turned it off, and headed back up to bed. Not too long after that, I fell blissfully asleep again. “Work tomorrow at 630,” I thought. “Wouldn’t it be great to get 9 hours of sleep!”

Hey folks. It appears my very first post (entitled: Welcome) somehow got half-way erased. It also got moved on my page to say I posted it today?? I’m quite upset about this but haven’t been able to get it back.

It’s 730pm on a Tuesday night. I’ve just gotten off from work a few minutes ago and am resting in my room. James should be well on his way into the bath now and winding down for bed. Except-no-Katherine decided to blast the music from the stereo in the kitchen (and presumably get him riled up)! I can hear it clear as day upstairs. And by upstairs, I’m talking the third floor....

I sure have a lot of backtracking to do! I’m currently ending the 7th month of my stay (Wow, time has flown by!) and James is 18 months old.
I plan on consistently updating this post as things come to me, so bare with me for a while. The breakdown of memories corresponds to baby’s age, rather than how long I’ve been here. It help me remember better.
